Elec. Yamaha accelerator pedel problems
I have a 2003 Yamaha G22 electric. Bought used and have never had problems. Has been working just fine until yesterday. While stopped, just sitting still it would start moving forward on it's own slowly. I could push the brake to stop it, but as soon as I let off it would go forward again. I tried setting the parking brake but it would not stay set. I was a few blocks from home but when I got home I had nothing. Would not move forward or reverse and I had to push it into the garage. Would appreciate any ideas before I tear into it. Thanks!

Re: Elec. Yamaha accelerator pedel problems
OK. Pulled the floorboard panel and found a rock jammed in the accelerator/brake mechanism. Popped it out and worked like a charm.

I was going to tell you to check there. I have tons of customers bring in their carts for that same problem. You just saved yourself some money which is all ways nice.
