Default Would you buy another Yamaha if ..

Hello,
For personal reasons, I had to sell my 2000 G19. This was the only cart I owned and it ran great. Had a 8:1 gear put in for the extra speed, and even with that the motor still had a lot of torque with the factory tires.

My question to you guys, would you buy another Yamaha or would you go to Club Car or Ezgo? Seemed like I heard from a few people the Yamaha carts had good motors in them for the G19 and G22 (not sure about the other models yet). I'll probably acquire another cart in 6 months, but just wanted to get a few or your opinions.

Thanks for your time and input,
housej55

That depends on if the full version of your question is, "Would you buy another Yamaha if you planned to keep it at the beach?" The answer to that is no. The Club Car's aluminum frame makes it the obvious choice in an environment where Yamahas and Ez-gos rust very very quickly.

Full version?
Ok that is something to think about if I was concerned with rust then, thanks! I'm sure the aluminum frame drops some weight off as well

I have a 1988 G-2 Yamaha that is almost bulletproof. Other than battery maintenance and one set of batteries and one wiper switch arm it has had only maintenance for the last 10 years. I would certainly buy another one like this one.
