Default G19

What would be the appropiate settings with a Alltrax DCX 500a and a 8hp D&D motor, trying to get the top speed

I've run a G19 with the DCX 500 and stock motor at 85% power, 100% top speed, (turbo Off)... I would think with the D&D motor you have, 100% power, 100% top speed and turbo On you would be ok.
Do you have the 502 motor from D&D?

22" Tires.
I used 9 throttle up, 15 throttle down.
85%, turbo Off I would see 21-22mph.
90%, turbo On I would see 25-27mph.

Let me know what speed you get...I always wanted to try the 502 motor...

Throttle up = 9... That outta really move! The DCX (and all sepex controllers) should be programmed to the characteristics of the specific model of motor. You might check the "field map" on the main controller screen. You may be leaving some serious performance on the table with a sub-optimal field map for your motor. The folks at Alltrax can recommend a better map if needed. Sorry, i dont know about the specific motor you are running.

You would use the same software and cable you use to change other settings. In one of the dropdown menus at the top is "upgrade", this would load the new field map. You would have to get alltrax to email the new map to you. Also, if you think you are not getting full speed, get the rear wheels off the ground, press throttle to full, look at led on controller. It should turn orange, if not, you are not getting full throttle, something else to discuss with alltrax. They can also sent a throttle map if needed.
