Default roof/canopy supports shake violently

I got a 2000 48 volt Yamaha cart.
Everything is stock, everything works. however the entire top/canopy shakes violently when driving.

It is a very poor design for the roof framing, there is no supports to keep it stable.

The from windshield aluminum tube, adapts to 2 round rods that go thru the plastic body in the front. The 2 rear supports attach to the sweater basket, and you can move the entire assembly . It seems that it "floats". I see no way or no place to try to add any stiffiners/etc.

What a terrible design!

Anyone have this problem?

My first cart was a '96 CC and it actually had broken supports (I think it had been rolled). This caused the roof to be very shaky. I would just make sure all bolts are tight and nothing is broken...

The few attachment points are tight. This is a 2004 G22.

The rear roof supports bolt to the sweater basket, which then bolts down .

I noticed the speed sensor is not hooked up, but cart runs fine.

If I hook up the speed sensor, will it make a difference in the shaking?

No they are not broke. When driving, the entire roof and supports shake from front to back.
