Wiper broke again!!!

The wiper broke again. This is the second time. Every time I replace it I make sure all contacts are level and smooth. What can I do to get rid of all this old technology? Is there an Upgrade kit I can use? I don't want to switch to a gas motor because then I won't be able to use it camping at State Parks.
What kit do I need and how much is it going to cost? Is it worth it?

In my opinion, the easiest converssion ist to use a Curtis controller and a Curtis PB-6 pot box assy. The controller can be mounted where the resistor coil is and the pot box works well were the accelerator board is located. The accelerator rod can easily be made to work the PB-6. You can retain your stock selonoid/f/r switch and motor and batteries. If you do a search, looks like you can pick up the pot box for 100.00 and maybe a "take off" controller for 200.00 or up. The benifits would smooth speed controll at all speed ranges.
