My buddys yammy stopped dead in its tracks. How do I test the soleniod and the controller? Thanks in advance for the help.

you can jack the rear up turn key on put in gear and jump the large post on solenoid to see if cart runs..............as for testing the controller you,ll need a service manual as its a step by step process and you,ll also need a voltage meter..........have you checked the battery cables......pull and twist each one to make sure they are intact and all terminal clean and cables tight.......................
