Default Where to mount fuse block on G22e

I'm getting ready to install my new 30 amp 48volt reducer this coming weekend, in order to then install my headlight kit, iPhone/mp3 stereo, voltage meter, etc. I purchased a marine fuse block to load my accessories with, hoping to eliminate a future disaster at the battery pack.

Should my fuse block be mounted up front near the dash, under front cowl, etc or closer to battery pack, under the seat, etc? (2006 Yamaha G22)

Secondly, if I plug my "yellow wire" from the voltage reducer to the key switch, I shouldn't need to also install a toggle or additional switch to power on/off the voltage reducer........correct?

Please excuse my earlier thread on this topic where i "stupidly" suggested I would connect all of my positive accessory leads to the key switch. I now understand that only the power lead from the voltage reducer would go to the key switch.......all accessory leads will go through the fuse block. (Hope I'm getting this right.....

It's nice when initially wiring it up to have the fuse block up front, but make it easy to get to later if you ever have a time where you need to get to it. It depends on your reducer on how to hook it up. I have seen a couple different types. Some have a trigger wire and some have a yellow wire that is the 12v output. If it doesn't have a trigger wire then you can break the power wire with a relay and have it activated by a switch or your key

Is the inner wall of either glove box/dash compartment a practical, easily-accessible location then?

I would mount it as close to the reducer as possible so
that the wire runs are fused and protected,
