Default G19 tie rod question

I went to change tie rod ends today. I have 3 new, complete sets of OEM left hand and right hand tie rod ends that came with my cart. They don't fit the tie rods.

The G19 tie rod ends have female threads for a stud that is threaded into the tie rod. The tie rods on my cart use larger, threaded shank rod ends, and the shank is larger than the G19 OEM female threads.

Looking at parts diagrams, it appears that I have tie rod assy's from a G2, G8, G14 series. See attached pic. My tie rod assy on top, G19 OEM rod end on bottom.

Obviously these have been working, so question is why did Yamaha go to a smaller, less robust tie rod assy? Any reason not to stay with the older, larger assy's? I'm a bigger is better guy anyway.

Early G19's used the tie rod ends with the male threads. The "smaller" tie rod assy's really started with the G16's.

OK, so the early G19 tie rods are the same as the G2, G8, etc? Just double checking before I order $100 of tie rod ends!

Sorry, I miss informed you. G19's used a JN3-f3830-00-00 and JN3-f3850-00-00 tie rod assy's. When the G16 came out (with the smaller tie rods and the female style tie rod ends), Yamaha discontinued the JN3's and substitued to the Jn6-f38530-09-00 and JN6-F3850-09-00 assy's (around 112.00 each). You should be fine ordering 2-J38-23841-01-00 and 2-J38-23845-01-00 tie rod ends. Yes there the same as G2/G9/G8/G14 and G19's. Hope that helps aliltle.
