Thanks. I appreciate all the info. Now I'll put that on the back burner and build it up the way I want and worry about it when the time comes.
I'm new to the forum, any tips to threads that might deal with lifting info and other tech issues? I don't want to hijack this thread but I've got several questions........

I have a 2009, and love it. I will probably change the 4-12V's to 6-8V's when they need to be replaced. Maybe the controller also. It does slow down quite a bit on the uphills.
Seems I need to verify what axle I have, but so far so good.

I just got a 2007 model in with the white tag diff. That gear on the intermediate shaft is toast. It looks to me (this is just an educated guess) that a poor quality metal was used on that shaft, as the gear it was running with is unscathed. Metal shavings are everywhere

Does anyone have a picture of the axle with tag? It might be hard to find on a dirty used cart, if I had a picture I would know which dirty part to clean off and look.

The tag is on the passenger side below the motor closest to the rear. There is a TEAM stamp next to it.[IMG][/IMG]

No problem. I replaced that one with a whole new rear end. It was easier than fixing what was broken

The yellow tag axle (and all following) had a better gear.
Does this apply to the 2010 Yamaha Drives as well? Or was it corrected by then?
Thanks, Ron

According to Yamaha, 2008 and newer with SN JW2-110501 or higher will NOT have "white tag" axle.
