Default 1992 G8E intermittent problem

pressing the pedal in forward or reverse and getting the cart to move was intermittent, but now it has stopped. i checked the voltage going from the solonoid to the controller and i have 38v when the pedal is pressed. i can't follow the logic on the drawing so can someone tell me if there is something else that is holding me out. when i press the pedal i can hear the solenoid clicking i just don't know what to check next.

thanks

Hey there.

Checking into a similar problem. Did you get yours solved ? What were the troubleshooting steps you used ? Like you, I hear the solenoid clicking and seem to have adequate voltage, just no motion. Please advise ?

Sorry I can't be more help on Yamaha contoller operated carts. The test precedures are very specific to the carts. You really need a service manual and follow the procedures step by step. Good luck Dave

Don't know if this will help you but my G8 has started after a few runs to stop and not move until I let it set for awhile. I was told it might be the stop switch but I havn't found one to replace it yet.
