Sand Drag
Hello all. New here to the forum.
Building a Sand drag racing golf cart to race 300'. Any one here got any help for motor clutching ect. Yamaha chasis, looking at built 23hp vanguard v-twin with some upgrades maybe 30-34hp. 23X12". Not sure what to expect for speed/ times/ performance on sand. Any experiences would be appreciated. |

Re: Sand Drag
In Michigan, no class just for carts but you can race about anything that runs. Website of track www.sanddragways.com Building it up as a 66-77 early Ford Bronco to match the real this and will be be about 2/3rd scale of the real deal. Will have quad double a-arm front suspention with disc breaks. Even crazier my 7 yr old will be racing it. Should be pretty awesome when done! Thinking the big block is the way to go but always keeping options open!
