|  Peace river camp ground (arcadia,fl)golf cart round up ! hey peace river campground (p.r.c.)is offering to play host to another golf cart round up . They will offer various events.last time they had a show and shine/ drag racing / sled pull /and blind driver obstacle course ... They are looking into jan. 14/15/16th (a holiday weekend) you can visit their website ( www.peacerivercampgrounds.com ) this park has both primitive and electrical hook up sites. It is an atv friendly park with wooded trails. A heated swimming pooll ,and other amenities...... If you call for reservations tell them you are there for the golf cart event (its nice to camp in the same area) |

| Re: Peace river camp ground (arcadia,fl)golf cart round up ! Never been there. Looks interesting! I took my cart to Fort Wilderness one time and had a blast!! Let me look into this a little more. So do they enforce the 9.5 speed limit & no carts after dark? |

I would definitely like to get there with the cart, especially in cooler weather. I'll call them tomorrow, and keep my eyes on this thread to see if this event is going to happen. By the way, I grew up in Miramar. On Plantation Blvd., just south of Perry Airport, in at the end of Everglades Dr. |

| Re: Peace river camp ground (arcadia,fl)golf cart round up ! I know this is off topic but anyone in the Arcadia area ever see a red 1971 4X4 Camaro running around down there? I built it yrs ago and a guy traded me a yellow 57 Chevy for it, had 35 ground hawgs on it at the time. Jus wondering. |

| Re: Peace river camp ground (arcadia,fl)golf cart round up ! We are headed to Peace River Campground, March 9-11th. I had a great time at the last round up there. March 10th is the Arcadian Rodeo. Bought our tickets already. Looking forward to it. See you all there if you can make it. Hoping to have a LT lift by then. Water in the river is too cold in Jan. We were at Westgate River Ranch Jan 14-16th. |
