Help needed!
Hello everyone! I've got a dellimma, I had a local shop here install a Curtis SepEx controller and an EMP motor in my 36 volt PDS. It ran perfectly on 36 but they told me I'd get even more outa it if I put in 8 volt batteries....so I just did that last night along with "1" cables. So this morning I planed to pull it out and give it a run and bam..it goes limp after 10'. The local guy here is zero help, can anyone tell me what I need to do??

Re: Help needed!
Is the new controller rated for 48 volts? How about you solenoids, are they 48 volt?

Re: Help needed!
I don't know how to check those, I was told it was set up for either 36 or 48.
It has a speed sensor I'm being told. |

Re: Help needed!
The motor probably ok since many run 48 on 36. BUT, controller and solenoid no likey. Can u test your controller by counting leds blinking and get the error or is it no green?
You will need to post pics or model #'s for the good techies to help you. |

Re: Help needed!
I took it to my local guy here and we hooked it up to his Curtis computer, he thinks it's the speed sensor. Calling Curtis and EMP on Monday.
