18 spline to keyway coupler? (aka the clutchess coupler)
Has anyone ordered a splined to keyway coupler? I need to go from an 18 tooth spline to a standard sized keyway for a motor hook-up.
It looks like most folks have either fabricated them or welded them together. I don't have those resources. :-) I have been on most of the sites I see recommended all the time. But either they don't deal in spline couplers at all ... or they don't have them in 18 teeth. Also, what is a "hub"? I see them for sale in the same categories with couplers, but it looks like only half of one (they are small). What is on the other side of those? Are they meant to be mated or welded to another hub to form a coupler? |
