ScottyB, can you please tell me where you ordered this from? This would be perfect for my battery situation.

Years ago I carried the pro mariner line of on board chargers. This was left over stock which I assume you can still buy online.

I found the holder, but could not find the square plate. Any chance you have a part number or even advice for what to put into my google search?

Its a pricey part, but, the ezgo 2five charge port is nearly identical (if not identical) in size to the txt charge port. It is a 120v socket for an AC cord.

If Your indicator light or buzzer is rated for 48v, You can just connect it directly to the N.O. terminal of the Relay (no resistor needed).

If You are using a plain LED (that is the symbol for the LED), You need a current limiting resistor. The 10kΩ resistor will work as well, the LED will just be dimmer.
Can I do this same but use the oem battery indicator lamp on the dash? I'm not sure if it's led but I'm pretty sure it's rated for 48v?

No, the OEM warning light has a regular light and an infrared LED, they work on 13v I think.

If You plug the AC power cord on the same existing DC receptacle, that alarm is redundant since you can't miss the power cord plugged to the cart.

There were some other contemporaneous threads when I posted this diagram where the power cord was plugged on the back of the cart, so in those cases the alarm is very helpful.

You can use anything rated for 48v for the optional "lockout indicator", buzzer or LED light.

I used both the buzzer and LED warning. The LED was useless. The buzzer works great. You could wire it to your back up alarm, so the alarm sounds when the charger is plugged in unless the key switch is off. I used a separate back up alarm. I have lots of them left over from hunting cart F&Rs which did not use the alarm. Contact me if you need one.
