Advice on 03 Club Car, speed
Hello All,
Great forum here! So much information here. So I have an 03 Ds. This is what I am running.. 48 volt, brand new trojans t-875 Sepex 500 amp controller, (126with settings maxed for speed D&D motor, not sure of model, but can get info if needed. 205/50-10 tires 1 gauge wire through entire cart. Not sure if high speed gears are installed, but tis is the club car that came with the speedometer in the drivers glove box, and the round rear roof supports and four wheel drum brakes. So here is the deal, I am running 33 mph, with enough power to spin the tires forever in the grass and on wet pavement. But, I need to go faster without loosing the tire spinning power. I did have 205/65-10 until I wore the tread off quickly, and was running a few mph faster then, but I really need to hit the 40 ish mark, and I really don't want to go any bigger in tire size than that. So, give me some options please. Can the motor be reworked by emp to accomplish this? Should I just go 72 and be done? Anyone want to point me in the right direction? I can read up on a thread if I am pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance. Seth |
