Heavy gauge wire 0,1,2 ?
What is the concensus on this CCA Copper clad Aluminum wire, it has to be oversized for applications but it's less expensive than pure copper.
Aluminum wire was banned in houses a long time ago, I watched my next door neighbors huse burn to the ground from the aluminum wire heating up will the cca wire last as long as pure copper? Anyone used it on their carts? |

All copper is going to have better heat dissipation characteristics when compared to all aluminum or copper/aluminum mix. It may be more expensive, but it works and usually 2awg is the largest size you would typically need it daily applications. Heat is energy wasted.
