Well I'm ordering the ac-23 with the 1238 controller tomorrow. tried doing a search on this set up on 72 volts couldn't find anything. So I guess this will be a surprise to find out how this cart is going to ride. Hope I won't be disappointed for the money over a series motor and controller.

Sounds like a killer setup! An A/C drive system on 72V will be awesome!

Just wondering if you pulled the trigger on your A/C setup? If so, pro's vs cons if any.

Thanks in advance,

Taylor Dunn

No didn't order I had somethings come up. Going to this week as far as comparing it to something the only thing I have to compare it to is my friends 36 volt txt that I converted to 48volt. I add a axe 500 amp controller and d&d 10-2 motor. I thought more people would have commented on those two motors ac12 or the ac23 on 72volts. I searched and really didn't come up with much so maybe not a lot of people are using them. I found a couple of threads on the ac9 on 48volts and they seem very happy. But it looks like I should of went with lithium instead of lead the more I read. I bought the us battery 8volt 205amp and they are heavy.

I did order the Ac-23 And the 1238 controller Tuesday from them. I been talking with them for the last couple of weeks very helpful. So soon as I get it up and running I will post some pictures and videos. the graph for the motor on 72volts said 105lbs of torque and 42hp so it should be fun.
