48v to a 36v motor?
Anyone heard of swapping in a stock 48v series cart wiring and everything into a cart with a 36v motor? I've been wanting to do this to my 36v resistor cart to get rid of those toaster elements as well as gain some speed.

Re: 48v to a 36v motor?
It's perfectly safe if you know what you are doing and connect everything correctly. The old cart should gain 33% more torque and speed if the motor and batteries are healthy. It's been done 100 times before. You would get the same result by putting the 36v CC series motor in a good 48v CC series cart.
