Default LiFePo4 in 48v truck

This is pretty much a drop-in swap.
2p16s >60ah cells from Ebay.
120ah 6kwh bottom balance-no bms needed
Charge to 55v with DQ charger.

Lithium batteries don't "require" a BMS. However it's my understanding that if you don't have a BMS, you must or should manually test the cells and manually top balance them.

Remember.....the charger is just "dumb power" and it charges for pack voltage. If you charge the pack to 55-V, that doesn't mean that one cell would be at 58-V and one or two others be at 52-V. The problem occurs when that one cell gets beyond it's charge limitation.....then you could have some very real problems.

Again, just my non-expert understanding.
