Default ZEVA monitor question

If any "ZEVA Guys" know the answer to this, please post. If not, I'll send an email to ZEVA.

Do you know which cell reading belongs to which battery cell?

Here's a pic of my monitor.....before I had the setup correctly showing 14 cells.

Interesting. Would have thought that would be something they would have in their instructions.

You have a picture of the "plug" you wired to the cells, that plugs into the unit? Think I remember, when I was researching what companies system to go with, they had the wire terminations labeled somehow.

Given the voltage of the unused cells 15 and 16, the logical answers is as You would read a book (in english).

Top left is #1 cell (most negative) and goes to the right then next line and starts on the left.

Logic would dictate that......OTOH.......I was a tax guy when I worked. Logic in the tax code would follow general accounting......at times.....and then not at other times.

I'll send Ian an email to confirm!!

I sent an email to Ian from ZEVA. This is the response I received:

Hi Dave,

Yes, sorry for the ambiguity - top left is cell 1, then moving horizontal first (so the number to its right is cell 2, the number below it is cell 5).

Kind regards,

Ian Hooper

So, it appears the logic is correct.

FWIW

Dave
