That’s nice.
I think I’ve gotta do a little looking into 3D printing. Is it at a point yet where someone with very moderate computer skills can make something like you did there? How much do you have to spend on a reasonable printer? |

https://www.tinkercad.com/learn/#/learn/designs This is the program I've been using to build/modify my prints. Incredible easy to use the only thing that's a little tricky is the measurement tool. If you can design it here you'll be able to print it. As for printers I like my dremel 3d20 I wish it had some of the capabilities of the it's big brother the 3d45 but it's more than double the cost. Even the 3d20 is pricey in comparison to what's out there. The thing about the 3d20 is the manufacture support and the slicing software used to build parts. It automatically includes support structures and will give you real time feedback of errors with in a part before you even start printing. Do a bit a research and when you have narrowed down your search get some feed back on your choices before pulling the trigger. I started a 3d print thread in the fabrication section of the forum.
