Now I'm a little confused. I was really asking for one forum (such as MODIFIED CARTS/LITHIUM) for everything lithium related for electric carts regardless of make or model to cut down the amount of time to find information and to consolidate things. Now there are lithium subsections in all of the electric cart forums. Wouldn't that spread out the information more?

Regardless if it is a Club Car, EZGO or another, it seems to me that most of the lithium information is sort of generic. By that I mean things such as building battery packs, building battery boxes, wiring diagrams, BMS info, interlocks and everyone's projects etc. Most of the builds on here are kind of using the same equipment and similar design regardless of brand of cart. For example, if I want to see what people are doing for lithium battery boxes or solving different problems, I'd have to look through all of the subforums to see what's there instead of going to one forum dedicated to Lithium threads.

Maybe I'm good and confused and maybe that's the way it has to be done because of the way this board is designed. Or maybe I'm not understanding how things work around here. Just curious is all.

Thanks again!
Brad
I agree. Maybe too many lithium threads under each golf cart maker forum is counter intuitive. Instead let everything be under the "All Things Lithium" sub forum of Extreme DC. Keep it all together and easy to find.

Well it is and it is not quite....

With just general lithium info that would generic in regards to manufacturer.

But when you go deeper such as the tray and layout areas they are reasonably different between EZGO and CC's, as with other manufacturers. The controllers and peripherals are usually installed a little different too, so there could be a benefit with manufacturer's subsections from an "Install" portion and for the logistics for laying out other things that support a Lithium pack. My layout is substantially different from the one we did in my BIL's EZGO.

What Nole said and another reason is many members may not venture to the Extreme DC section if they have a lithium related issue or question with their cart. It may be overkill but it gives options and we'll see how it goes. I can change it up later if need be and move everything here.

You guys let me know if it seems like it gets spread out too much or their is too much trouble going from one section to the other (too much back and forth). I'll centralize if so.
