Forum/Section for all things lithium
The subject of lithium carts, conversions, BMS and other related information etc., is very popular these days and this interest will only increase in the future.
Can we have a section/forum on all things lithium related, to consolidate all of this information? As it is now, lithium related threads/posts are spread out over several forums and it is getting more difficult each day to search and find the info one seeks. I'm thinking that a dedicated forum for lithium would be a big help for those looking for info for their projects. Thanks! Brad |

Re: Forum/Section for all things lithium
This is a reasonable request. I think it would make the forum more useful and more popular.

Re: Forum/Section for all things lithium
WOW...that was quick!
Thanks so much! Now I'm a little confused. I was really asking for one forum (such as MODIFIED CARTS/LITHIUM) for everything lithium related for electric carts regardless of make or model to cut down the amount of time to find information and to consolidate things. Now there are lithium subsections in all of the electric cart forums. Wouldn't that spread out the information more? Regardless if it is a Club Car, EZGO or another, it seems to me that most of the lithium information is sort of generic. By that I mean things such as building battery packs, building battery boxes, wiring diagrams, BMS info, interlocks and everyone's projects etc. Most of the builds on here are kind of using the same equipment and similar design regardless of brand of cart. For example, if I want to see what people are doing for lithium battery boxes or solving different problems, I'd have to look through all of the subforums to see what's there instead of going to one forum dedicated to Lithium threads. Maybe I'm good and confused and maybe that's the way it has to be done because of the way this board is designed. Or maybe I'm not understanding how things work around here. Just curious is all. Thanks again! Brad |

Re: Forum/Section for all things lithium
There are five new sections/sub-forums added over the forum in respective places.
I went through the first three pages of this area and moved some threads. I'm not an electric cart guy at all so help is appreciated. Moving posts/threads would be very time consuming. If you guys have some specific (important) threads you'd like moved (not overbearing), let me know and which section you would like them to be located, and I'll try to move them in a timely manner. Thanks. |
