Default Series motor amp.draw going from 36 to 72 volts

Really enjoy zipping around the large golf cart neighborhood in my old Yamaha .range is important too. So , if we take this cart ,with 205/60/10 street tires that pulls 40-45 amps at 15mph pegged out on 36 volts with a roof but no windshield ,anybody want to speculate what the motor amp draw would be at 72 volts and say 29 mph ?

I have no idea what the amp draw would be at 29mph on 72v; but I do know that an increase in voltage equals a decrease in amps. So, if tire size doesn't change, the controller size stays the same and you use the same motor, your amp draw shouldn't be much more that what you're currently at.

Went to 60-65 amps , can't say how much of that is wind-rolling resistance, but going to run it again with out the roof just for kicks. Would like to try some larger tires and see if I can get closer to 45 amps at the higher speeds

Are you going the same top speed during this amp measurement?

The speed went from about 15 mph to about 29.
The next one is going to be from 36 to 48..
I thought I was in the mid 30 amp range at that speed but can't remember so will test again.
