alltrax controler blinking
500 amp alltrax blinks 4 times after turning the switch on this normal? 99ez-go dcs es-9b-50r motor ,lifted, 22 inch swamps .

What color light is it flashing? Straight off the home page for alltrax.
LED Status Indicator: The LED located on the front of the unit provides status of the units operation and used for troubleshooting. The LED Blink Codes occur at power up, the number of green blinks indicates the throttle configuration: 1 Green LED flash = 0-5 kohm resistive 2 Green LED flashes = 5K-0 ohm resisitive 3 Green LED flashes = 0-5 Volt 4 Green LED flashes = EZ-GO inductive (ITS) 5 Green LED flashes = Yamaha 0-1K ohm resistive 6 Green LED flashes = Taylor-Dunn 6-10.5 Volt 7 Green LED flashes = ClubCar 5k-0 ohms, 3-wire throttle http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_AXE.html |

4 green flashes, turn switch on put cart in foward 7to10 seconds later cart will move! not sure if there is a problem or not ? seems to be a slow reaction time from time you turn on switch till you actual..go ,, Thank's

Is the solenoid engaging? When during the 7-10 second wait does it engage?

Is your alltrax programmable? If so, might want to check the ramp up setting.

No the solenoid seem's only to engage after the light turn's solid green ,Then you are ready to go .

Are you running the correct value pre-charge resistor and diode on your solenoid per the Alltrax recommendation?
