Garage Built vs. Dirty South Drag race. Video

Here is Garage Built running his AC drag car (96 volt lithium ion) at the buggie Bonanza.

They were letting him run between rounds of the real drag cars. Dirty was lying in wait at the staging line and jumped in on the run without Garage Built knowing he was going to race.

Sorry the time are fuzzy but Garage's slip read 9.5 sec @62 mph. Not bad for only the fifth time the cart had run.

Not bad at all... Ronny and BJ spent ALL weakend getting the cart wired and running. It was great to see that kind of determination. That pass was done between the jr. dragsters and the big boys. Chris at Krazy Karts was on spot ta make sure the track guys let us slide in between the scheduled event. That is my son driving the Dirty South #7. GB and DS are in two diff. classes. So it ain't quite fair ta say we was sleepin' on that one.

#7 ran it's best time Friday afternoon. 11.11 @ 55.7mph. Lost power Fri. night, thinkin' head gasket started goin'...
