Depends on where you buy it. $150 new? $50.00 used? How good of a bargain hunter are you? $5.00 from a wreck in the back of the local cart shop?
You may need two seperate 20amp/120volt AC outlets to power them, they will throw the breaker on the same circut. That works for me.

How much can/does it cost for a standard charge port?
There isn't a problem unless you don't have 2 chargers....Actually, Muaythia41 uses Three 36 volt chargers on his 108 volt ezgo.

I read and never saw what the amp charging rate was. Just it would charge 72v. Looks like deceptive advertising. I have a couple of schamachcherchercher chargers and they work great, but mine are 12 volt chargers.

Let me think this out...we have two 36v systems side by side that make 72v in series, but we want to charge with a 36v charger.... What happens if the two systems were in parallel?
There is a little known way......somewhere.....to do this with one 36v charger? Someone showed it to me and I put it somewhere? hmm
Anyone know how this could be done?

You need to look at it from an electron's perspective.

If I'm an electron..., I want to get from "my" neg source terminal to "my" pos source terminal. I don't care what other electrons are doing in the neighborhood..., I have a designated path from my neg to my pos, and this is my 36v path. The other pack would act the same, in that the paths are different and specific.

Two packs, two chargers, two indipendent paths, as long at the pack is truly 72v series configured.

Of course, if you are running two 36v packs in parallel, you are running 36v at double the current, but the voltage is still 36v. You could charge both 36v packs with one charger..., but charge time would really suffer if you let them get too low.
