Snowmobile motor
Has anyone have experence using anything beside the v-twin vanguard or briggs motors? I am from the North and snowmobile motors are 2 stroke and fast but lacking on pull. Any suggestions would help have full machine shop and can fab anything but am new to carts and dont want to sink money into a motor that wont work for this app. Also I was thinking of using a small car rear end I dont think a stock rear will take the power any suggestions would help. Thanks

Re: Snowmobile motor
Hi, It didn't get to the BB section, yet. Snowmobile make excellent cart motors. The rotation is the same, they use a similar clutch to belt drive. If you positioned the motor correctly, the same cart belt may be used. A stock gas golf cart rear end will work. They use a driven clutch w F& R
I have a rotax sitting in my garage. (I'm in Alabama) Lot of punch per pound! |
