8 year battery life!
Amazing. I didn't realize we still have 4 2001 EZ GO's running around with original Batteries. One of those 4 had all original cables.
I was servicing some carts today and saw this. The pack reading is 37.8 volts and she runs good. Those TROJANS are dang good batteries. E-1. That's May 2001 manufacture date. Excellent These are used regularly, it is a golf course. |

Re: 8 year battery life!
Golf cart batteries get bounced around so much, the electrolite gets splashed out of the vents, the plates begin to deteriorate from vibration etc.. We all know what that does....
5 years is average, 8 is exceptional for this application. |

Re: 8 year battery life!
My T-105's are D-4's which makes them 5 years and 4 months. The pack voltage is good and each battery in the pack is between 6.38v and 6.44v.
I'm running 42v and waiting for them to die before I go to 48v. At this rate it may be a couple of years. |

Re: 8 year battery life!
Had a customer come into the shop with 11yr old t-105's....cart still ran and charged but customer said his run time had dropped off. Cart was like new....batteries looked like they had been put in the week before!
You don't see to many like this. Most don't raise the seat until it dies! |

Re: 8 year battery life!
I changed some out for a customer earlier this summer that were 11 years old. That is the oldest that I have seen. They were still going, but he said he was starting to loose a little run time and decided it was time for new. It's amazing what a little regular maintenance and taking care of your cart will get you.
