Now for you guys that have a need for speed. But your wife’s are tight with your money, then this boost is by far the best speed up grade you can make to your cart. There is not a speed up grade on the market today that will teach you more about your electric system than this one. Real speed comes from knowing. And what better place to start. Than right here?

I have been reading some threads and trying to learn more about this as well as other things. I recently bought a 2003 Club Car DS. I understand there are IQDS and just DS. On the IQ I've also read there is an easy way to increase the speen with certain codes. I on the other had do not have it that easy with this one just being a DS. Therefore, I am trying to figure out a good way to increase the speed and torque on this golf cart. It is lifted with bigger tires, has rear seat and extended roof. The batteries seem to be the cheap ones (6 volt, 75 amps), but good. I am not sure if just replacing the batteries would give me anymore spead or just longer running time. The cart does not look like it has any sort of controller, just risisters I guess if that is the things that look like a spring. Based on all this, what would you all recommend is the best way to increase that speed of this cart. Based on both I would be willing to put in around $500 more if I knew it would really help. Would just buying a new motor help. I would also prefer spending less if possible. The cheaper the better.
