Default Another 72v Question

Greetings, I'm upgrading a California Roadster from 48V to 72V and am wondering if 2 Czonka EV200 contactors wired together can be used for a forward reverse contactor. It seems possible looking at the wiring schematics posted and there doesn't seem to be much else that will handle the Current. Thanks

No the Czonka relays cannot be used that way. The czonka only passes power when its engaged, the reversing contactor passes power whether its engaged or not. You will have to use a reversing contactor. The reversing contactor is designed so if both solenoids are enaged by accident theres no power going to the motor. 72 volts isn't that much unless your pulling like 1000 amps so most of your reversing contactors will be fine.
