Default 12v batteries

Does Exide make a 12v GC battery? I asked at work today, and shop manager said he could get them for me @ $82 each(below wholesale he said). I can't find them listed on their website. Anybody have any info?

What is Exide's biggest 12V battery that fits a GC battery foot print? Don't ask for a 12V GC battery.

probably a group 31 but it doesnt have much reserve compaired to gc bat the only one that comes close in reserve capacity is an 8d but the bat is huge but if you modefy the tray you might get 4 under seat and two in bagwell.

I'll ask the shop manager to get some specs from dist. and relay. But if they are making them now and $82 I'm buying my six.

Napalaz, you might be right. I work for a trucking company and rep may be thinking about unlimited space for batteries. I'll call mgr Mon. and see if he can get info straightened out.
But a huge 12v deepcycle bat for $82 makes me want to stretch my WB.

I am 100% percent sure they dont have them I work for NAPA on the distribution side and our bat manufacter is exide as a matter of fact When I spoke to the exide rep today he was about a block away from a golf cart distributer in okechobee florida he was going to take a look at what the new yamahas have for bats they use 3 12v and was going to talk to the development team. If after doing some research we find that their is a market for them they will make it for us. The Miami distribution center is exides bigest 6v bat customer. The 8144 (t105) is used in Latin America and the caribean as back up power sources in resedential applications . For example it is not uncomen for a house in the Dominican Republic to have 50 8144 conected to an inverter so when the power goes out the bats kick on. I send around 2000 bats a month just to the Dominican Republic. Lets hope they come up with something but I cant see how the bats wouldent be huge you need lots of led to have decent reserve.

The new Yamahas use 4 12-volt batteries, not three.
