The pot box should have a micro attached to it that sends signal to selonoid to activate it. The key switch should turn on controller.

Not ALL pot boxes come with a microswitch built in. A PB-5 doesn't, a PB-6 does. He didn't say which one he has but the vendor should know to get him a PB-6. PB-6 is the way to go.

Buckmanmike,
Here is a diagram that should be exactly what you need. One thing to keep in mind when your wiring in the czonka relay is the coil is polarized....meaning it will only work if you hook the coil up the right way. Positive to the positive side of the coil and negative to negative side of the coil. I learned the hard way one day scratching my head trying to figure out why the relay would not activate....anyways..here ya go.

Hopefully you have a PB-6 for your throttle. Thats the way I drew it out. This diagram doesn't have the back-up buzzer. *(edit. This diagram assumes you have an alltrax controller. Do not PM me requesting I draw other diagrams. I do not know what connections are on EVERY controller.)

Small terminals on controller:
1. Throttle 1
2. Throttle 2
3. Power on

The picture he supplied doesn't look as though it has the micro switch in it!

Its hard to tell from the pic..but the PB-5 and PB-6 look the same otherwise. The 2 smaller screws on the left side of the pot box says its a PB-6.

I have the pb-6. I'll pull it out tomorrow for a quick check about micro. I tried jumping czonka and still no power to wheels.

If my pb-6 has a micro switch to it, shouldn't it have wires coming from it. Mine has two leads that go to controller, no other wires. I'm going off memory, will be at cart tomorrow. Thanks for help. If I take to someone to wire correctly what would be a fair price.

I didn't know you had it all hooked up already. LOL! Double check the diagram...and make sure the polarity is correct on the relay activation coil.

A PB-6 will have 2 wires for throttle coming out of the box. The other wires will either plug onto the micro or are held on the terminals with a small screw and terminal. More than likely you have the push-on type. The micro is mounted kinda on the inside in front of the lever by 2 small macine screws.....it has 2 (or 3) terminals on it. Common, normally open (and more than likely normally closed for the 3rd terminal) CO, NO and NC.

From keyswitch to CO (common) on micro then from NO (normally open) to + (positive) side of czonka relay. The - (ground) on the czonka can be ran to any DC negative source. You won't use NC

Also...be weary of chinese PB-6 knockoffs. They are CRAP!

Hope this helps. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I ended up taking cart to shop to let them rewire. I'll pick it up next time I'm at camp in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be running good and I can start raising voltage.
