Hello, I purchased a G4 Planet with a dead battery system...essentially a salvage job....are new battery systrems available?

Anyone with first hand knowledge about what parts were used for the steering column and ignition switch would be helpful.

electric car in rancho marage, california has a couple of planet cars in their junk area, they could probably help you out.They know more about them then most dealers because there are a few of them in their area. the batteries are about $37.00 and they take 41 of them.

they have chevy steering columns and a chevy key switch,accesories for reverse and on for forward.. TOM,,, tsmith102072@yahoo.com

I'm using 10 each Optima Yellow tops in my G4, but the on-board charger was reprogrammed for Optima's charging curve.
