Default Removed Mfg tag

Someone gas removed the the MFG tag on an ezgo cart where else can i look to find out what year the cart is ?? He said it was a 2006 ??

Supposedly, when EZGO went to the serial# decals around 2004, they began stamping the cart's serial number in the top of one of the frame rails over the rear axle.. The body would have to be removed to find it.. On 2004 and later TXT's the serial # and MFG code will be on a decal affixed to the frame crossmember behind the seat.. Raise the seat, then lift the flap of the access panel, the decal will be stuck to the crossmember under the flap.. There will also be a serial# decal affixed to the outside of the driver's side framerail, just behind the front wheel.. They've stopped putting the metal plate in the passenger side glovebox..

Sometime during the 2004 model year.. Here's a couple of pics of the decal and the location on the crossmember behind the engine..

Problem with those tags is they do not fair well in the electrics with the batteries gassing during re charge
