Default Would You Rather

Would you rather run an Alltrax or Logisystems controller?
What are the advantages, or disadvantages of either of these 2 brands?
Both are in the 400-500 amp range.

What are you looking for out of your controller change, speed or torque?

I have a 36v motor I am swapping out to get speed, and I want to to have a good amount of torque too.

I am thinking that you most likely like the alltrax in your situation, how else are you going use the cart, and what kind of motor did you get?

it is a stock 36v that I'm putting on my 48V system
I want to be able to go fast, and climb the small hills at the lake.
And if I can make it, compete in Marion Ohio at the IGKRA event.

OK so swapping out the motor and doing a 48v conversion correct? Don't forget fuse, diode, charger, charging receptacle, controller, oh and new cables.

He's already got a 48c cart, LH. He's swapping in a 36v motor for speed AND torque. It WORKS!

I have a logitech controller and have no problems with it. It is the 48-72v 700amp model. It is the only non-stock controller I have used so I can't compare with Alltrax. It doesn't ramp the amps up fast enough to do wheelies but have not had a problem with hills either. It will extend the shocks etc on take off but won't pull the weight of the wheels off the ground. Some Alltrax controllers are programmable so you can have instant full amperage(wheelies). Sure can save some $'s with Logitech.
