Default FR Help on EZGO TXT

Does this look right or does someone have a picture of what it should look like Im having a hell of a time
Got all my parts to make it 48 volt and started with the fr switch and am still working on it 3 hours later
I cant seem to get it lined up or something. I hate to say it but I may need to take it to a professional :(

yeah that helps so I can screw in those 4 nuts and suck that black piece in a little more so the micro switch wheels will ride on it better? Can you screw it in to a point that is to much?

You should still be able to move it back and forth with your hand, and or lever, if is too tight you will feel it from the lever, it will be different than before.

In the pic you posted the Switch cam needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise. The silver band should be positioned vertical not horizontal. I think this is your problem....

I had my buddy help me out. Rotated the switch and still nothing. I went ahead and wired in the 2 extra batteries and we hooked up the solonoid. I plugged in charger last night about 11 and this morning about 11 it was still charging and the batteries sounded like they were boiling

Chevy, I changed my F/R switch out and unless its in the right position when the handle is in forward it won't go. The contacts must be in the right position. I had to take the rod off the switch and adjust and then I had power. So, you may not have a bad switch, but like Scotty said it needs to be in a different position or else you may think your in forward and it is really in neutral.
