Zone Electric with a lift
I need a little info on these new Zone Electric Carts.
I purchased one of these units, I had the Jakes 6" lift installed with 22" tires. This thing cannot go up hills at all. If I stop on my driveway it won't move when I try to drive again. What can be done to help this poor thing out? It has a curtis controller and I read somewhere that they can be programmed to be switched from speed to torque, is this possible. Also, what about gear ration in the rear, can this be changed to help in climbing hills. The specs are: SepEx 4kw 5.5hp motor curtis cont. model 1268 Thanks |

Re: Zone Electric with a lift
Yea, the controllers can be reprogrammed. Check here for more info. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ontroller.html I don't know if its going to help all that much though.
I haven't seen gearsets for the chinese carts yet. May not ever. If you really HAD to do something swap in an ezgo rear axle, motor and get an Alltrax. That'll take care of your problems for sure. |
