Default EZGO-CLUB 48 convertion

I am fixing to start my first build, this is what I have to work with. 97 ezgo txt body and frame, 700 logisticics controller for club car, gE 380 which will be attached to a club car rearend. I also am getting a 48 volt delta charger w/ the deal. I am told I will have to put a new 0-500 ohm potentiometer in the current ezgo pedal box. Has anyone ever done this and is this sounding right to some of those electric gear heads out there.

Sounds right to me. Install a PB-6 5k-0. Also make sure your charger and cart plug match and that charger is for anything other than a club car. Club cars have an on board computer to regulate the charger.

I will not be using the charger port, I will be installing a external charging port like the one on my boat, but thanks for looking out for me... Took the ezgo axle off yest. will begin the swap today. the only thing that looks diff. is the mounting plate for the brake cable?? I'm sure I will figure it out.. Also, made my own HD springs, look good to me, will bring them to the spring shop t-day to get them banded..., also should I try and fab. my own 0-5k pot box or just buy one. found the fourtgen type for $65 shipped free.....
