Anyone running a 72volt 4x4 hunting cart?
I'm curious to know...who here has a 72volt 4x4 hunting cart?
I currently have a 48volt (6-8volt), series, club car but was thinking about going to a 72volt system. I'm in the early planning stage of this build up. From looking around and doing some research here it seems like a 9-8volt system would be the way to go if I decide to do this. I'm not worried about losing the bag well for battery space. I wont need it, I'm going to put a fold down rear seat on the cart. If you have a 72volt in your rig...does it really make a huge dif. while 4wheeling? |

Re: Anyone running a 72volt 4x4 hunting cart?
We make one, there a lot of fun. Ours is wider and has a lower center of gravity than a golf cart. www.imaginativemfg.com check it out and let me know if I can help answer any questions.
You need to be careful because this is a real beast and can be very dangerous to operate in a golf car. Keep it low to the ground and make it wider to help handle the speed. You need to add brakes to stop the golf cart. The rear brakes are not enough for 72 volts. |
