Potentiometer question
Is there any issue with using a 97 DCS (regen/sepex) potentiometer with a series controller (logisystems 700a) also, is it 0-5k? The reason I specify DCS is when searching parts it seems to make a difference. Thanks in advance.

Re: Potentiometer question
0-5K is by far the more common potentiometer. The DCS cart has an ITS, not a potentiometer. The Marathon carts of the early 90s had a potentiometer 0-5k. This is the one I use with a little modification in my conversion kits.

Re: Potentiometer question
So, will the ITS work with the logisystems controller?

Re: Potentiometer question
It can if you have it is programmed for it. They program them when they are making them, before they pour the epoxy.

Re: Potentiometer question
The controller you are asking about is for series carts only. You would have to convert your cart to series to make this work. New F&R, motor, Cabling & some wiring.

Re: Potentiometer question
That is all in the works, going with PQ assassin (mid-range) 700amp logisystems, HD F/R, solenoid, #2 or #1 wire, 8/t105... only thing I had a question about was throttle change over.

Re: Potentiometer question
As Scotty said, when you order your new controller just be sure it has the correct throttle input and keep your present throttle. Should save you a dollar or two.
