No one seems to talk about the speedy link much. I think it is a great product. It plugs in at the motor connection and you can unplug it if you need to. I get right at 20 mph on my "07 CC ds AQ0707. Just recently seen a used on in the "parts section" for 50 bucks.

I have the Speedylink on my 05 Precedent streetcart and it is great but I think the limited years it works on is why you don't hear much about it. With stock motor, solenoid and controller with upgraded cables, 12"wheels and Speedylink I went from 15-17 tops to a consistent 18-20mph and will run well in excess of 25mph downhills. But I think it only works for 05-08 Precedents

I have a 2010 Precedent and serial starts with PJ. what does that designate?

Also, I was getting 18mph before i lifted the cart, after 6" lift, and 12' wheels with 23" tires, i get 23-24mph.

PJ = Precedent i2, 4 passenger, Excel drive system

The magnet won't work on your cart!

thanks Lockman. I will google all of that and try to make sense of the differences between the drive systems and what exactly an i2 is lol.

Hello All - I've got a 2002 CC DS, serial number starts AQ so I know I have the IQ system. The motor is a GE motor. I installed the new magnet yesterday and got no increase in speed at all. Still at 12MPH. The entire cart is stock. Can you all tell me if there is anything else I can do beside bigger tires? My batteries are 2 years old. I'd be happy with 15 mph on flat ground. Thanks All!!

Do the test below to make sure your speed sensor is actually working:
DS IQ or Precedent Speed Sensor Test

Thanks for the fast response Sergio, I just ran the test. When I was pushing the cart the auto break system kicked in and it was beeping. Any other thoughts/ideas?
