72 Volt Conversion
Finally getting this project done
48v-72v 800 amp logisytems controller 6-12v Trojans Delta-q 72v charger Got pretty much everything I need. Got to figure out battery cable lengths after batteries are in cart so Scottyb can make me some cables. Batteries. Thanks plumquick for the batteries! Old batteries out Moving f/r switch and controller in between front and rear seat Making new battery tray I havent welded the tray yet. Just getting all the pieces and mocking it up. Its going to have supports for all the batteries, MORE TO COME!! |

1st question lol- Do you think I need to run braces for the 5 batteries in front or do you think the 1 inch lip front and rear is enough to support them? Its 1/8" angle iron.

never mind I am a idiot lol. Im just gonna run a piece of flat bar the length of the tray centered so all the batteries have a bit more support.

My industrial runs 4 across on 2 pcs 1.5" angle iron. 2 rows of 4/6v
