Default 6:1 gear install.....

Before I crack open transaxle for gear installation, is there going any surprises? Any "I did this advise"?

Looking forward to see the difference after install.

You might get more response if you said what kind of cart it was?
Maybe even re-post in the category your cart fits like CC elec?
How are you going to compensate for the reduction in torque associated with the 50% increase in gear ratio?

Compensation provided by the installation of PQ 36V Hp motor with upgraded electronics. Cart info: 97 CC 48V 205/50/10 tires / cart weight with driver less than 600 lbs.

Back to original question, if someone had done a gear upgrade in Kaw transaxle and had any "pointers" for this application. No worries already completed and back together. I am not after the “launch pad” effect from gear change, but the overall speed increase. Will GPS cart tomorrow after installation of Speedo to see if Speedo and hand held GPS have the same readout. Possible I purchased incorrect Speedo for “top speed” monitoring, but I don’t need cart to operate over 40mph, will know exact details tomorrow.

Speedo link: http://www.speedhut.com/custom_gauge...number-931.htm

I posted question in this area to attempt to acquire pointers from someone who had completed this application change, in other posting area, I had comments toward cost of gears and "provide video".
