Default Upgrades available for RXV?

I was at my local cart store today and they were test driving a precedent with upgraded electric motor to 10hp and upgraded controller to I believe 600 amp. It looked fun. He was spinning the tires in gravel. I looked at site sponsors on here and did not see anything that struck me as far as upgrades for the AC powered RXV. Has anyone done this? I was thinking of a 12hp motor and upgraded controller focusing more on torque than speed but would like to get the cart to around 25mph at the same time. I know there are gear options but that would hurt my torque to much I believe. My local store also offered to turn it up from the freedom speed of 19mph to 25 mph but I want power when riding the trails. What is the best option?

I have a 04 PDS cart I converted to AC back in October. It does 29MPH all day long. Has plenty of torque. I would think the reprograming would get you close without hurting the torque that much. My opinion anyway!

Turning an AC cart up in speed won't hurt low end torque unless the programmer tells it to reduce torque. The speed of an AC motor is determined by the maximum switching frequency parameter of the controller. Theoretically an uncapped controller would keep spinning up the motor until the rotor came apart from centrifugal force. There are programmers that can turn the speeds way up but the shops typically don't do this for liability reasons.
