Thanks! There will be prolly more updates adn photos of the drag cart than anyone actually wants to see. I just used the Mustang drag cars as examples though. I don't know anything about either of them.

Edit: Some days I am an idiot. I'll shoot some photos of the P51 while I'm there also.

They are very cool. I'll be sure to get you some photos of some of the custom stuff Bob is making for the Mustang builds. He's designing and making his own stuff all over the plane. The custom goodies for the first one is what brought the second one into his shop. He's working on pivots and such for the gear mechanisms now. He's custom maching them out of solid 4130 stock. Seems crazy to me but the airplane crowd eats it up. Personally, I'll stick to fast carts.

(1) fat guy approved seat on the big brown truck today. Turns out that I might actaully fit in this cart after all.

Seriously. The cart had a Kirkey 15.5" wide seat in it. After further review, my butt is more than 15.5" wide. I didn't even need belts once I got all the way in the old seat and I was going to have to employ crew members to extract me. Kirkey makes the same seat in 17.5" wide. That one woirks lots better.
