Default Charging and or battery life issues... Any ideas?

Okay guys I need some help. I have a 92 easy go that I've upgraded From 36 V to 48 Volts With the new motor, controller And all the accessories. Two years ago when I did this I put all new batteries in it And had to buy a new charger. I bought a lestronic II And everything has been fine for the past two years. Just recently I've had issues with my batteries going dead ALOT quicker. When I hook the charger up it goes to a full 30 amp charge right away not after about 6 hrs its already down to 5 or less. The water is good in the batteries and as far as I know there is no draw when the key is off, not sure how I'd really check it... I have a 48 to 12 v converter running a winch, radio, lights, and a 12v charger plug. How can I figure out if the charger is messing up or what would cause such a drain or lack of full charge on the batteries?

You could start by unhooking the converter and accessories, charge it to full and see if that makes a difference. At least that would tell you whether or not it's your carts original system or your accessories. Split the system in two, divide and conquer is my troubleshooting style.

Just my opinion.

Best of luck

Did you by chance install a toggle "kill switch" on radio to kill voltage going to it when not in use? A radio will still sit there and draw power even when turned off. What type of batteries did you purchase and install?

Reducers will draw too, even when not in use. They should have a disconnect.
