2005 EZGO PDS - 10" lift - 27x12x10 Dirt Devils
Right now it is stock. It pulls fine and tops out nicely (~21-22mph). It's only use is running around the lake campground. However; I see a 48v or 72v upgrade in it's near future The kids also drive it so I would like to be able to limit the speed when the they are driving. I really want more bottom end torque than anything else. Wheelies would be cool Leaning more towards 48v than 72v because it more cost effective to just add two batteries. Maybe 72v in a later upgrade phase. Suggestions on controllers and motors? Pros / Cons..experience |

If you think you might be raising to 72v in the future, when you upgrade to 48v get you a controller that will work anywhere from 48v to 72v.

The ebay dealer that sells logisystems will sell you a 700amp, 48-72 volt controller for $395 shipped. This is what I have, haven't installed it yet.

How much extra for a solenoid to go with the controler?
I have a 97TXT ezgo that I want to do the same thing with, and I'd like to get a controler that can handle the the same voltage demands. Also..., any feedback on this controler?? |

I have the logi 48-72 controller. It works great but the amps don't ramp up real fast. Plenty of torque, just not enough to pull the front wheels off the ground.

PM "afix" he has an 05 ezgo, pulls wheelies and runs 28mph on flat ground...very impressive. I know what he's got in it...cost you around $1500.
