Reversing contractor??
I know this question is not extreme dc but I know their is alot of knowledge in this forum. I want to convert my Marathon I am rebuilding over to a reversing contactor and am kinda confused as to what size to buy. My cart will stay 36v, I have 400a Curtis controller with a GE D295 motor with 25" tires. I am also thinking I want to use one with a 24v coil. Thanks in advance!

Re: Reversing contractor??
I would buy a 36 volt 400amp contactor. You will need the F/R switch also are a toggle switch.
If you go to cloud electric it sends you here. http://www.powertronx.com/product-p/ct-ptx-ur-400a.htm |

Re: Reversing contractor??
Sweet!! Thanks for the reply man. I was gonna use a three way toggle switch and get rid of the f/r switch since my panel that the f/r switch was mounted to on my Marathon is rusty and I got another one made. Figured it would clean it up a bit

Re: Reversing contractor??
I have done several of these conversions and love them. I have 2 DS carts I did and my 72 volt monster cart.
This is the one for the 72 volt monster cart. |
